| In the middle of
a bizarre mountain range in Andalusia, at the edge of a 120-metre canyon
you will find Ronda - one of the most incredible places in Spain. Nobody
has ever regretted the arduous journey through a labyrinth of narrow mountain
roads when coming into sight of the town of Ronda. According to the German
poet Rainer Maria Rilke, nothing in all Spain is more surprising than
this wild town. Here you´ll find the charming Hotel Alavera de los
Baños.
An intimate Ronda hotel
The hotel is situated in “San Miguel”,
the former Jewish quarter of Ronda. Just off the town's centre, next to
the Arabic baths, the hotel offers beautiful views of the medieval town
and the mountains beyond. It is run by a German/Spanish couple and comprises
9 comfortable and peaceful rooms. Wrought iron gratings, traditional ceramics
and original tile flooring give the country house a special rustic character.
Guests are welcome to make use of a small library and they will find a
lovely Moorish garden with a little swimming pool to get their rest and
relaxation.
